Now he has an angry Wolverine in his face and he needs to figure out how to fix the mess he created when he simply wanted Logan to always know he has a home. Unfortunately, the X-Men are more than willing to welcome Logan onto their team, so maybe Wade can join them and keep Logan his while providing him a home?

Charles, Logan, and Hank succeeded in interfering with Raven’s plan. Trask lives on, but so does their future. Everything has been set right, everything is fine.
Except for Charles. A giant collection of metal beams from the stadium overhead fell on him and pinned him to the ground. Everything seems okay, but he can’t feel his legs anymore, which means that he can’t feel the sharp metal beam embedded deep into his thigh, and his blood is leaking into the grass much faster than what’s healthy.

Charles’ life is governed by his addictions. For so many years, he used drugs and alcohol to numb the pain, the sadness, and the voices, voices that would scream day and night, day and night, so loudly that their pain became his own. So when a situation forces him to confront old demons from years past, naturally, his body and mind react accordingly.
Logan knows Charles. The strong, confident man who guided him to know his own value and find a life worth living. But Logan doesn’t know THIS Charles. The Charles he knows is powerful and coolheaded, the kind of guy to take everything in stride. Which is why this Charles having a full-fledged panic attack in the middle of the Cerebro hallway feels so WRONG.

I always wanted to know what happened between the time Monroe was rescued and the time they celebrated his rescue and sent both him and Rosalee off to their honeymoon.
It seemed such a bizarrely tight timeline to accomplish recovery/celebration within.
I also desperately wanted to see Monroe meet Terry's wife and give her Terry's wedding ring.
So I made this. The timeline is probably off to the episode and to how quickly law enforcement can work to identify a body and make a notification.
Expect lots of whumpy moments, recovery, emotion, and fluffy caregiving.

Remembering his own trials to becoming Deadpool, he helps him to get out of the box, and befriends the stranger after bringing him back to the X-Men facility where Professor X heals his memory loss. Bucky quickly takes Wade under his wing but is reminded of Steve painfully when he sees Wade with his boyfriend, Peter. When the brunet manages to mention Captain America, Bucky asks him to take him back to the Avengers Tower, where he is reunited with his best guy.

Hank abruptly stops, staring at Charles, who had cut him in just as abruptly. “Sorry?”
“Why are you still here?” Charles repeats, leaning forward in the bed, gritting his teeth. “Why are you still here, Hank? Don't you have a life? Don't you? Why the fuck are you still here? Leave! Just go? Go!”
Hank makes a face, hurt, but even more importantly, confused. This lack of anger isn't what Charles expected, no.
It isn't what he wanted.
What he wants is to scream. He wants to kick the bed, he wants to struggle and he wants Hank to shout back and he wants to pull his fists, he wants to stand up and he wants to fight, he wants to punch Hank and he wants him to have the face of Erik Lehnsherr.
