Summary
Ahsoka Tano, former Jedi Padawan and commander for the Grand Army of the Republic, has officially succeeded in the goal she and her former master, Anakin Skywalker, had begun pursuing years prior: the capture of the Sith renegade, Darth Maul. Finally defeated during the Siege of Mandalore, Ahsoka believes she's ready to settle down and leave her life as a Jedi behind, but during her return to Coruscant, Order 66 is declared, naming Ahsoka Tano as a traitor to the Republic and painting a target on her back against the clones.
However, that's the normal story; this is not that story. In this universe, Order 66 is declared, but Ahsoka is not attacked. Instead, she falls under the rule of Darth Sidious, or Emperor Palpatine, who pardons her life in return for her joining him in his pursuit to officially take over the galaxy. It is a time of peace. The Galaxy is under the rule of the New Republic. Protected by the New Republic military and Jedi Order. Though now a new threat is rising. The First Order the last remaining and most powerful Imperial Remnant group hide away in the unknown regions of the galaxy, preparing themselves for the day they can emerge and restore the Galactic empire.
Though weak in military power when compared to the New Republic, relying heavily on older Imperial-era ships and only able to do light raids. They prepare in secret to unleash their greatest weapon, the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer. A newer more advanced Star Destroyer that could potentially give them an advantage in the war they plan to rage.
Though unbeknownst to the First Order a traitor has stolen the plans of the new ship along with the plans for other ships the First Order are building. They are also unaware that the New Republic are close to finishing their great experiment, the Viscount-class Star Defender, a dreadnought that is scheduled to be the most powerful and advanced ship in the galaxy.
As the Galaxy prepares for a new war. They are unaware of a new threat lying in wait for the ideal opportunity to strike the galaxy.
