However, he decides he has plenty of time to play with the group before killing them to satisfy his own gluttony, and so decides to keep them around as his temporary pets... nothing more, nothing less.

The Imagination is a tempestuous thing. Every once in a while, it requires focusing, just as any great and terrible power does. The twins do this with one great Story, one that takes all of the Imagination, including themselves. Every few months, no exceptions. That is, until the others overhear them planning for it and take it upon themselves to offer their opinions, especially on who exactly is responsible for what. Creativity is Creativity, after all. There is no good, there is no bad. The others scoff: of course there is! How could it be any other way?
So, the twins make them an offer: join the Story. See for themselves. It's not as simple as they might think.

Now beginning again with a renewed drive for life, the four find that who they had summoned months ago truly meant it when he promised to see them again. Janus finds these four mortals interesting to play with and is not letting them go so easily.

Dark trees, gnarled and dripping with some viscous fluid. Bats and screaming critters scurrying all along the ground of black and brown grass. Deep water and razor cliffs made of mysterious oily black stone. Shadows moving in massive packs and the distant howling cackling of monsters made flesh.
The others rush to find Roman, demand what's going on, why has Remus done this, but Roman isn't there.
The blank figure of Good Creativity opens the door and has no idea what they're talking about.
