A snatch of poetry comes to him, a series of minor chords, and he files them away automatically, for later. And that is when Maglor realises he is no different from the others waiting upon the dock. That he too, has begun to dream Teleri-dreams."

Growing up in Valinor at the noldorin court in Tirion Laurefindele has trouble adjusting to lies and schemes. An elusive supporter of Feanor sets up a plot to the kinslaying long years before it happens. Elenwe, crownprincess of the Vanyar and an influental figure at the noldorin court works with Laurefindele to uncover the conspirators before the worst comes to pass. Between all the sharp tongued courtiers and ruthless schemes Laurefindele falls for a gentle court musician who accompanies him way beyond the shores of Valinor and necessity brings them together on the ice.
A story about Glorfindel growing up as a vanyarin prince in Valinor who falls in love with Ecthelion, a musician at court. Strangers to one sided pining to friends to lovers. Spans from his youth in YT 1457 to YS 9 in Vinyamar. Through the years repetitive appearances from all different cousins and half-cousins, family feuds and lots of character developement.
A lot of Valinor lore, cities, culture, much of it canon compliant.
There is a part Glorfindel/maleOC but in all honesty, Glorthelion is endgame, and the best part? The whole thing is also available von Ecthelions PoV! Look at the Series!

Feanor, after cursing Morgoth, realizes that cursing someone instead of telling his children that he loves them is a relatively poor decision while he's on his deathbed. So, for his entire stay in the Halls of Mandos and after he is brought back to life, he spends his time trying his hardest to see them again. Of course, Nerdanel is there to tell him that she had already tried to go to Middle-Earth after he died and was prohibited from sailing. Well. That certainly isn't good.

Summary
Fëanor and his sons (Minus Maglor) have been in the Halls of Mandos for a long time, and frankly, they're getting sick of it. They had been there for three Ages when Mandos offers a deal: manual labor to the north for an undetermined amount of time, but out of his Halls. Of course, all of them leap to accept. The only catch is that Fëanor and his sons have been separated after their reembodiment, and need to find out where they're going. Nerdanel wonders about a rumor of her family returning.
Meanwhile, Finrod and Amarië get distracted by some cool bugs.
