Peter is conflicted. On one side he should be extremely concerned. On the other side it’s nice to see Tony happy again. And, he can’t quite pin point why, but he likes looking at Tony with a rounder belly…

Summary
He’d dream of the cold sweat of a glass, the amber depth of a good bourbon, and wake with his mouth parched and his heart hammering a traitorous rhythm.
He was trying to be good. He was building something fragile with the kid. Peter saw the rehab not as a finish line but as a foundational stone. As a new, fresh start. Tony saw it as a cliff edge. The problem wasn’t the wanting, he decided. The problem was fearing the want. That caused his thoughts to spiral.
Howard’s lesson, stripped of its malice, was sound. You had to look the monster in the eye. You had to swallow it whole to prove you could.
He announced his plan to the empty room. “I’m going on a bender.”

Summary
Having caught Tony right after a recent alcohol binge, Pepper has had enough. She can accept relapses but she draws the line right here and right now! Her ultimatum for Tony is pretty straightforward.
“Forty-eight hours. No alcohol. Peter is here. You will not fail him.”
Will Tony be able to fight his desperation for just one more drink? Or will he cave and disappoint not only Pepper but also himself.
What about the secret third option though?
Tony wouldn’t be Tony if his brain wouldn’t be able to come up with a loophole!
