Chapter Text
To the Shadowhand, Lord Essek of Den Thelyss,
Your brother is a rather interesting character.
I believe "enthusiastic" is certainly a word to describe him, also.
One of many words you would choose, i presume.
I can very much see the similarities between you both. But I can very much see how both you and he differ in other ways.
Where he is broad and tall, you are slender and quick witted. Your hands show the skill and precision in which you cast and wield your magic, as his seem more ready for hand to hand combat.
I must admit I have watched your hands several times over the handful of days we have been in each others company, Essek.
I also have had more and more inappropriate dreams, with you as the main subject of them.
I will not have them interfere with how I conduct myself around you. You have my word on that, of course. Dreams and reality are entirely separate things.
Perhaps I can note out what the dreams were, considering you shall never actually see these letters. It feels odd to even consider, but I should try and give it a go.
If I hate it, ill just burn them to ash, or throw them in a fireplace when we next stop for the night.
Either way, i suppose i have nothing to lose by noting these things down.
Your currently sleeping in front of me at the moment, by the way, whilst we travel. Those new ear caps are beautiful against your skin, with the copper shining nearly as bright as you.
Perhaps it should be odd that each letter I write is whilst you are in an altered state of consciousness, but I suppose in this way, then I do not have to explain what I am doing, and can save face somehow.
But anyway, the dreams.
They mainly start with me undressing you, layer by layer. You are usually seated in one of the armchairs, or a large couch. Uninterested. Ignoring me, usually.
But that's alright.
Because I would see the arousal swelling beneath your robes, knowing that my touch was having that effect on your body. That you wanted me to touch you, even as you tried to pretend otherwise.
Perhaps you like to be in charge in bed? I know I very much would not mind if you were.
Im getting far too ahead of myself going down that path, so I shall end this letter now, before you wake up to your fool of a husband erect and flustered.
Your enraptured husband
Professor Caleb Widogast
