Summary
Two hundred years of absence leave a mark. As Elrohir and Legolas return to Imladris together, old courtesies mask older judgments, and welcome does not mean forgetfulness. The valley remembers what stone and water have witnessed before, and not all silences are kind ones. Love has endured, shaped by long roads, chosen distance, and a marriage that asked for loyalty above comfort. Whether Imladris has learned to do the same, or whether it has merely learned to hide what it has never unlearned, remains to be seen.
