Chapter Text
Simon
I wake up with a start, and I'm surprised to not me lying in the middle of the woods.
I'm back, I think and i get up from the sofa and look over to Baz's hospital bed.
My heart drops.
its empty.
Its plain, empty, like no one has slept there for hours.
I failed
It didn't work.
I was too late
Baz died.
Baz.
My Baz.
I was a second away from giving in to a panic attack when I hear a cool voice behind me.
"Crowley, Simon. You look like you are about to go off"
Baz is in the doorway, cuffing his shirt raising his infernal eyebrow at me. I might just punch him.
I run to him, pushing him against the wall, and kiss him instead.
He is smiling. I'm smiling.
"To think we never thought we would make it." I say, pressing our foreheads together.
"It wasn't our destiny for both of us to live past nineteen, and here we are, Vampire and Dragon Boy, defying every word fate put against us."
"I always knew you were more powerful than destiny itself" Baz says, kissing my cheek.
Penny groans from behind us, "Crowley, you guys are dramatic"
