Hey guys, it's Mage. Been a while, hasn't it?
I should start things off by giving you an explanation for my absence. It was a combination of real life factors, focusing on other stories, lack of inspiration, and me being blackpilled by the abomination that is the Saints Row reboot and it's aftermath.
I've recently started a new Saints Row gaming marathon. It's a tradition I like to take part in every once in a while, and it's exactly what it says on the tin. I'm remembering what it was like to feel that joy I used to have with the series. Even with how disappointing 3 and 4 were, the games were basically a canon event for me.
With that said, I'm currently in the drafting stages for a redo of my Boss fanfic. It'll still be a retelling, but more... Loose with events? I just don't want it to be a play by play of the original. If people wanted that, they could just play the games themselves. I want to do a few more things differently this time around. So if you're expecting a 1 to 1 of the games, you're not gonna get that from me.
I'm still going to keep this fic up for archival purposes, but I hope that those of you who liked Ghost of Stilwater will enjoy what I've got in store.
