Summary
'My lady Baratheon, if you would join me on the morrow within the Tower of the Hand. Your knowledge would be much appreciated.' Baelor had always had an elegant hand that you had not forgotten, careful and meticulous with each arch of a letter and dot of a quill. Maekar had despised his perfect lettering compared to his own scratchings and scolded you for the same expertise when the maesters had brought the noble children together to learn. But Baelor’s note said little more, beyond his signature. It was not 'Hand of the King', 'Prince', or anything else so notable beside his name, Baelor. You brushed a thumb over the letters with a fondness that roared to life within your ribcage. You were no longer a silly youth who entertained dreams of princes.
[returning to king's landing brings forth old memories and lingering emotions between the targaryen princes and their dear childhood companion. but such things do not come easy, not with all that lies between them regarding duty and longing.]

Summary
“Rough day?” Out of all the words Robert could have said, that was all he could rasp out, feeling the cool rain drip over his face and the crevices of the Mecha Man armor.
“Yeah, you could say that.” You took a step forward, your eyes taking note of him. His injuries were more of the internal kind, blooming bruises under armor and fabric that Robert could feel when he moved. Robert opened his mouth to respond, but you raised a hand.
“No, I don’t want to talk about it. You don’t send the equivalent of ‘you up?’ text to get mushy with your ex.” He was making a bad decision, Robert knew amid the low haze of liquor in his veins. The two of you had ended the relationship amicably, mutually. “Not enough time for each other when we’re saving the world.” You had said, even though both of you had made time in the past. “I need this, I need Mecha Man.” Robert had said to you later, after his father had died. You understood his drifting away, fading away yourself as your own villains and demons called your name.
[risky texts lead to even riskier one-night stands. but you're both suckers for each other, even when it hurts.]

Summary
“Wasn’t there footage of you eating people from a few years back?” You sighed. The bat-creature was just as intense as the Reddit AMA the SDN PR team had you do upon your first public success. Half the questions had sexual tones that were overtones that made you want to cringe.
“Yes, I did. That was an accident. I don’t mean to eat people, but well, the hazard of being near a kaiju. I coughed ‘em up later.” Sonar nodded, a gesture that was all in his head before he shrugged again.
“Oh, well, I usually mean to. Good on you though.” You blinked again, speechless as you watched him turn and leave the breakroom without another word. How did he get that past HR? You only watched in bewilderment as Sonar left. You thought yourself an oddball out of all the Z-Teamers, considering you could transform into a building-sized kaiju, but the more you got to know them, you began to think otherwise. It seemed like a violation of workplace norms was more of the routine than you ever imagined when you had signed the hiring contract.
[newly-hired z-team member is trying their best to get used to the z-team routine of ignoring rules and more importantly, HR. robert robertson does not help.]

Summary
“Hey, thanks. Here’s a tip-” Robert swung the door open, words flowing from his mouth before he even checked who exactly was at his door. His hand was thrust out with bills in it as you looked between his hand and his face. Time slowed as you watched the realization hit him, all casual politeness to an expression that you could not name. A widening of his eyes that became a flinch of his brows, shock that turned to regret.
“Sorry that I am not a delivery guy. Maybe I should have brought a pizza with a side of what the fuck, Robert.” The angry rush of words was out before you stop them. They hit Robert like a physical blow, a flinch that twitched his lip. Robert breathed your name, half a plea, half a comfort that you wanted to curl around your fingers and pull tight.
“Months, Robert, months. Months that you’re in a coma and you wake up without ever telling me that you’re alright.” The words became more jumbled as you spoke, gesturing in a tone louder than what the dusty hallway deserved. But conversation was not what your heart sought, more like an argument to vent out whatever had been stewing for months since he had fallen out of the sky.

Summary
“This feels like an HR violation.” Robert pulled back to mutter the words and felt your laughter under his fingers, lighting his chest with warmth as you looked back at him.
“It is. Page 408, actually.” This time, Robert kissed over the jut of your chin and moved down further to worry his teeth over your jugular.
“The fact that you know that is both surprising and not. You do this often?” Robert felt himself laugh as his mouth moved lower and lower, until the fabric stopped his wandering mouth. For once, he wished for the blue button-up of the SDN uniform so he wouldn't be faced with such a dilemma. Even more so as your hands slid into his own hair, tugging at the strands there.
“No, no. I have just been to enough training modules where they strongly. . .” Your voice wavered as Robert bunched the fabric by the hem.
“Strongly discourage interpersonal relationships between SDN employees.”
[An SDN closet is made witness to a major HR violation, not that Robert really cares.]
