Summary
Mol is determined to reap the benefits of a contract with Raphael. But Tav knows that the devil is in the details, and if Mol is going to sign her soul away, she'll make sure the young trifling gets as much as she can out of her infernal pact. After negotiating the terms of Mol's contract to include clauses that prevent Raphael from using Mol from doing anything much worse than lying and stealing, taking up every second of the teenager's time, and disciplining Mol through torture--no one wants another Enver Gortash, after all--the devil finds his frequent renegotiations with Tav are actually useful, enlightening, and, though he wouldn't admit it, enjoyable at times. Mol notices as her patron starts to call on Tav for all things "Mol-related," even when it isn't strictly necessary, and she can't help but interfere a little bit. She gets Haarlep, Yurgir, and even Korrilla involved, if only because the devil is always in a better mood when Tav is around. With enough meddling, maybe Mol can feel like she is part of a home, a feeling she hadn't experienced since fleeing Elturel.

Summary
Rossi never meant to date Strauss. It was an accident, really. Kaz, Inej, Jesper, Wylan, and Nina hadn't seen each other for years after they broke into the Ice Court, retrieved Kuwei Yul-Bo, fought to get Inej back, and drove Pekka Rollins out of business. They never spoke about what happened--not to anyone--and they never planned on it. The truth was, even though they had told each other they would stay in contact with one another, they had long since forgotten about the promises they’d made to one another when their emotions were running high after everything that happened. It isn’t until Inej catches word of unrest in Ravka that she returns to Kerch, where she plans to inform Nina of the new development, that the group, at least some of it, is together again. "Why? Is he even worse than you are?"
Sherlock frowned in confusion. "I have no idea what you're talking about. Let's just say that for him, it's even more important to remain in the shadows than for Mycroft."
"And having a famous brother wouldn't be good?" John guessed.
Sherlock hesitated. "Not really." He said in the end. "Let me say it like this. While Mycroft is the British government, my other brother is the eyes and ears of it."
"What is he doing?"
Sherlock sighed. "MI6."
"MI6!?"
"He's the Quartermaster. And maybe also dating one of their Double-Oh's."
