Summary
Throughout the centuries that humans have walked the earth there has been one pair of soulmates, a pair of souls that are so inexplicably intertwined that with each life they live they meet again. When the soulmates look into each others eyes, the myth says they will remember all the lives they've shared in the past.
When Harry jumps before the killing curse that Bellatrix sent Sirius, he didn't expect to live. He sure as hell never expected for it to destroy something inside himself that had kept his soul from reaching the person it was destined to be with. Nearly dying had never had such good results.

Summary
Harry is the owner of Parselsmith, a shop that deals with all things Parseltongue including spellwork and translations. Draco works as a cursebreaker for the Ministry, examining items found in raids for Dark magic. During one particular raid, he finds a box of scrolls written in a language that no one seems to be able to decipher. Out of desperation, he takes one of the scrolls to Harry’s company and he finds out that the scrolls are in Parseltongue. Reluctant at first, Harry eventually agrees to translate the scrolls for Draco. As the translation reveals a horrific truth about the war, Harry and Draco find themselves bonding over a cause.

That Cormac McLaggen was dead didn't overly concern Draco at all. That he'd turned up dead in Harry's kitchen was somewhat more alarming. But it was fine. One way or another, Draco was going to fix this.
