Now Molly and Caleb have to navigate their feelings for one another, their memories of their night together, and their mutual need to pretend like Everything Is Super Normal And Also Fine, Thank You Very Much.

Summary
Yesterday evening, a charming man with the Gentleman’s neck tattoos had slipped something unsavory into Caleb’s drink. It hadn't knocked him out entirely, but the aftereffects were apparently raining hell down on their dear wizard, and nothing Jester (or anyone else) could do had made it better. Caleb had resigned himself to sleeping off the drug in the hopes that whatever magical effects it caused would wear off in twenty-four hours.

“Okay,” Molly says, breathing out slowly. “Okay. So. Moving on. What — what do you need? Food, water? Alone time? A brothel? What can I do—”
“Mollymauk,” Caleb whispers. “Please fuck me.”

Fuck, this may turn his stomach, but Molly wants, and Caleb needs, and they can be good to one another now and figure the rest out later. He gathers Caleb into his arms and kisses him back.

Summary
With Caleb's old master dead and most of their other problems set to rights or laid to rest, the Mighty Nein are setteling into quieter lives. That is, until Beau asks Caleb to take a strangely behaving, tattooed, guardian-less Tiefling from a failed circus in his care while she finds out why others are conspiring to get him in their control.
‘I’m not jealous, don’t be ridiculous,’ Essek said. ‘I -’ he paused again, clearly looking for just the right words in a foreign language to express a delicate idea, ‘I’m afraid, knowing people and knowing the Empire, that if I did not know you so intimately, my friend, I would have to assume you to be among the worst kind of persons.’
Caleb gave himself a half second to nurse his injury at that. ‘I’m well aware.’ He wordlessly called Frumpkin into his lap and buried his fingers in his neck. ‘He’s terrified of me.’
