Summary
If somebody asked Wind what he thought of Skyloft, he would probably talk their ear off for a solid half hour, then come back ten minutes later for more.
First off, it was in the sky? Just floating there? It was like something straight out of his Grandma’s stories, only bigger and tangible and wow.
He loved it here. It reminded him of home, in some weird way. It was just, well…
A shadow passed overhead, and Wind balled his hands into fists in an effort to keep from flinching.
There was just one integral aspect of Skyloft that he could really do without.

Summary
The inn-keep thankfully didn’t seem too bothered by the three armour-clad men that had wandered into her business, nor by the slew of similarly armed boys milling about the entrance.
She did, however – bless her soul – delicately mention that the town had a robust public bathhouse as she slid over the discounted keys for three rooms.

Summary
The rancher had been poking around the clearing since practically the moment the portal had deposited them there, running his hand over the trees as he scanned the ground for something. He evidently had found whatever it was he was looking for, if the way he visibly perked up and crouched down was anything to go by.
A few seconds of rummaging through the undergrowth later, and Twilight straightened back up – a wide smile on his face and a plant in the shape of a horseshoe, of all things, in his hand.
“I know where we are,” he said.

Summary
The wind was howling around them, whipping freezing sheets of rain into any exposed skin and threatening to bowl them over with a ferocity that would put a rampaging lynel to shame. Just the sound alone was deafening, any words lost to the roaring gale as the surrounding trees creaked and cracked ominously under the constant barrage.
And yet, rising above it all, was the clear, deceptively bright notes of an ocarina.
