Summary
Izzy looks at Bonnet, who is sitting on the bed, waiting patiently. His face is open and relaxed, he’s smiling sweetly, but his eyes, his eyes are hungry and they’re fixed on Izzy, held secure in Edward’s arms. Izzy feels warmth in his veins, spreading through him like the sweet high of opium, and he nearly melts into Edward.
“Okay,” he says, surprised at how hoarse his voice is. “If you promise.”
Edward buries his face in the crook of Izzy’s neck, kisses the hot skin there. “Good girl,” he murmurs, and Izzy’s knees buckle.

Izzy is always the first one to arrive at the pub, signing off on shipments and taking stock, and if Edward shows up it will be just before last call, when Izzy is dead on his feet and can’t say no to a single thing. Truthfully, though, he rarely can.
