He hadn't intended to find a new beginning, and he definitely never meant to find one in the form of his mad scientist cellmate.

There are many gaps to fill in Homeworld’s empire. In Era One especially, it was dramatically easier to create living gems rather than non-sentient technology. This leads to some gems that, in form or in coded thought, are more than enough to remind an outsider that these are aliens they are dealing with.
OR
Weird original gem types in the form of a guide that could plausibly exist in-universe. Sometimes cool and sometimes horrific, often relating to real-world geology.

Summary
Just because Pyrrhia itself is no longer at war, doesn’t mean the dragons inhabiting it are at peace.
Although she’s finally found a place where she belongs, Peril can’t help but find herself missing her relationship with her father. Meanwhile, Chameleon himself has found a meaningful connection in an unlikely candidate… who happens to end up attempting to rebuild his bond with his own dragonet, Starflight. Now all their lives are quickly becoming interconnected, and there’s no saying where things will go from here.
Join them over the course of their lives as they rebuild burned bridges, and construct new ones to mend the gap.

Summary
A series of fics centering around the Chameleon/Mastermind pairing, and subsequently how that affects Peril and Starflight's respective relationships with their parents and each other. All takes place in a coherent timeline, and is a reboot of sorts for (Re)Building Bridges, an older fic of mine.
Series title is lyrics from Birdhouse in Your Soul by They Might Be Giants, taken gleefully out of context.

Summary
A series of stand alone one-shots that can work together as a linear narrative, all centring around the Turtle/Winter pairing as Turtle visits Winter's home in Sanctuary for two weeks.
Renamed from "A Fortnight at Winter's" because I stumbled across something coincidentally very similar with a near identical name. Not ever called simply "Fortnight at Winter's" because that somehow implies dead body shenanigans, which this does not contain. Also does not contain anything to do with the game Fortnite. Or anything else that you may think of. Titles are difficult.
