Summary
After completing his PhD, Ienzo is invited home to spend time with his convalescing father, Ansem. Returning to the small, mountainous Radiant Garden brings memories and omens of a bitter, dark truth yet revealed about the past. Complicating matters, Ienzo runs into his ex and first love Demyx, whom he has not seen in seven years. As loved ones pass and old feelings threaten to reignite, Ienzo ends up in a race to remember the past, or else destroy the present.

Summary
Ienzo has been too busy since the war to be overwhelmed by the past. But with little progress to be made in his work with Kairi, old nightmares start to invade.
Riku is a glorified housesitter. Lonely and faced with no choice but to wait for a way to find his friends, he eagerly accepts when Ienzo asks him to help do repairs around the castle. Before long, the two strike up an unlikely friendship, united by their dark pasts and their attempts to be better people.
But just as they begin to consider something more... Kairi wakes up.

“Listen, I know we got off on the wrong foot the other day -and, well, most of the other ones before it- but I just wanted to say that- that,” he let out an annoyed huff and dragged a hand down his face, looking back up at her with a more sure countenance, ”I don’t want to pretend this didn’t happen. I made some promises to your father that I don’t think I can keep. I want to be involved. You and I both got into this mess, and I don’t want to act or pretend or- or whatever that I don’t have a responsibility here; that it isn’t my kid too. I want to be involved.” Ricky finished solemnly.
Amy stared quietly at him for a moment, weighing her response.

Bella has been searching for Arthur ever since he disappeared from Arkham. She never expected a phone call from her father would be her first solid lead in months. She arrives in New York just a little after the Butcher is apprehended, and catches up to Arthur (finally) some time later.
They have so many things to discuss, but... maybe it's okay to wait 'til morning.

Summary
Everything was oddly smaller than Ienzo remembered it being, if only because he himself was not so small anymore. The castle, however, was still immeasurably large, and now it felt accordingly empty. Ienzo was more than familiar with emptiness. Ten years an empty shell, after all.
With the second Keyblade War on the horizon, Ienzo wants to help the Guardians of Light however he can; to atone for sins past. It's hard to focus, however, with his newly-reclaimed humanity hanging heavy on his conscience.
Or: Kingdom Hearts III, through Ienzo's eyes and heart.

Summary
Ienzo had never paid much attention to Demyx the first time around. Sure, they enjoyed the occasional game of Twister together, but that was mostly because the rest of the Organization refused to play with them.
Other than that, they merely existed adjacent to each other, each of them too preoccupied with their own agendas to pay mind to those outside of their usual spheres. Ienzo had just figured that they weren’t really well-suited for each other.
Now, staring at the vessel that Demyx unceremoniously dropped at his feet, Ienzo has to reexamine that assumption.
