Duncan nodded politely, a small, humble smile tugging at his face. His blue eyes, however, never left Aerion across the crowded hall. "You're too kind, ser. I only do my duty."
Internally, Duncan thought: You have no idea how much work it takes to tire him out so much that he can't misbehave. The memory of last night's exertions flashed through his mind—Aerion's pale thighs wrapped around his waist, the prince's sharp cries muffled into a pillow as Duncan drove into him for hours until the royal brat was limp and sated, too exhausted to snap at servants or scheme.
