It is a horrible realization to have, that perhaps Zuko hadn’t thought this entirely through.
Because Sokka is everywhere.
He is in council, he is in the palace, in the barracks, the merchant yards, the gardens. He is bouldering his way into Zuko’s rooms without a second glance at the guards and dragging him out to go sightseeing, to go to the markets, to lay in the sand and watch the stars.
He is everywhere, and he is beautiful.
Or: Zuko asks his friend to come to the Fire Nation as a new council member, and struggles to survive under these conditions.

Summary
He thought he was so much, Zuko thinks, his eyes never leaving the tapestry. He thought he would be remembered for something great.
“When Fire Lord Sozin started the war,” Zuko says, voice surprisingly firm, “he destroyed every piece of history that came before him. He rebuilt the Fire Nation under his image, and by doing that, he rebuilt what qualified as truth. He erased everything he considered weak, everything that could be interpreted as a wrongdoing or a failure. It didn’t fit with his narrative of our country. He thought that by destroying the shame of the past, he’d guarantee the glory of the future. And he was wrong.” Zuko takes a deep breath. “I don’t want to make the same mistake as him.”
Or, what it means to make history. Featuring Toph's enthusiasm for destroying property, Aang being allowed to have negative emotions, and Zuko figuring out life.

Summary
Simon Snow hasn't got a clue as to why he doesn't want to fight his vampire nemesis to the death. All he's got is a stupid plan to pretend that he and Baz are dating so that The Mage won't make them fight.
Baz Pitch has got an envelope bursting with money and a burning desire to enjoy whatever time he can with the boy he loves. What he hasn't got is any clue what goes through Simon's head.
The two form a truce and run away together for Christmas, eager to bask in the things the holiday ought to bring...while the threat of war breathes down their necks.Snow's blubbering stops short as he takes in the beauty of the hotel’s interior. The lighting is dim and warm, making the off-white walls gleam. The furnishings are wooden and well cared for, the polish immaculate. I can see several fireplaces at work with a cursory glance. Perhaps most lovely of all is the scent of fresh pine wafting from the various wreaths and garlands artfully hung about. There are little baubles and lights in them. I eagerly await evening, when the hotel surely becomes even cosier and dimmer—I’m certain the Christmas lights will look divine when twinkling in Snow’s eyes.

Summary
At the end of seventh year, Simon Snow catches Baz in the woods with Agatha and can't stop himself from tackling him to the ground.
Unfortunately, the Humdrum chose that exact moment to pull Simon away from Watford and into a dead wood. Doubly unfortunately, the Humdrum decides its better to keep Simon in a tower where he can't cast any magic. And just to top off an amazingly shitty cake, Baz has been dragged along with him.
