The sharpness of the last word cuts through McCree worse than anything in recent memory, making his skin crawl. The aura surrounding Hanzo is equally as scary, scarier than many of the Alphas that McCree regularly encounters. Omega or not, these conditions are miserable and unhealthy, and he knows they’ve probably been this way for several days already. They don’t have all day to figure this out.
“I understand that, pumpkin, I do,” he says softly. “But believe me when I say that wastin’ away in a cell ain’t a fun way to go.” He hums when Hanzo turns a wrinkled nose up at the well-intentioned pet name.
“Do not call me that.”
“Well, what should I call ya then?”
“Just call me an Omega like every other filthy, braindead Alpha does.”
In a dystopian Western world where Omegas are a rare commodity following the societal collapse, an Alpha Cole "McCree" Cassidy happens across an Omega Hanzo being trafficked alongside other Omegas. He takes him back to his Alpha outlaw town, and they get a rude awakening to the world they truly live in. Summary
Combat Medic Ziegler has always loved the Overwatch initiative. After a scouting mission to Hanamura goes awry, Angela puts all of her time and effort into saving the life of Genji Shimada. From medical procedures to cybernetic engineering, she's willing to do anything. Once Genji's new form is complete, Angela realizes the man she had come to care for is in grave danger. Now, she must work through Genji's violence, McCree's crush, the crumbling of her beloved organization, and her own feelings for the cowboy and the sparrow.
It's a Gency-centric work with a small amount of McMercy thrown in for good measure. Part One of my Overwatch Series, focusing mostly on the Pre-fall lore.

'Two Halves' follows the official lore and story line of the original Overwatch. It contains transcriptions of various animated shorts, passages from various official short stories and comics, and in-game quotes, all woven together to form one coherent continuous story that chronicles the inner journeys of (and relationship between) two of Overwatch's most stubborn agents: Jesse McCree and Hanzo Shimada.
