Summary
After an awkward misunderstanding involving a burger, a very hungry Buck, and Eddie saying the absolute worst possible thing in the hottest possible way, Buck can’t stop thinking about the strange, electric feeling that passed between them. With Maddie pointing out what everyone else seems to have noticed for years, Buck starts to wonder if maybe he and Eddie have been circling something bigger than friendship all along. As the tension builds, the 118 gets increasingly fed up with their nonsense, and Harry gets a front row seat to the chaos, Buck and Eddie finally have to face the truth: the air between them has been charged for a long time now.

Summary
For Buck and Eddie, the ultimate aphrodisiac isn't found in whispered praise, but in the cold, hard evidence of their permanence. What starts as an intense physical encounter quickly spirals into a feverish exchange of legal milestones and financial deep-dives, where the "boring" logistics of adult life become the highest form of foreplay. As the lines between their individual lives finally blur into one, they discover that nothing is quite as intoxicating as the paperwork that proves they are locked in for good.
--or--
Buck and Eddie are horny over the permanence and domesticity of marriage.

Summary
Buck's plan for the evening is simple: eat calzones with Eddie, pretend he's not in love with his best friend, and absolutely never think about one desperate night he hooked up with Tommy in Eddie's house, and the conversation they had the morning after in Eddie's kitchen while Eddie was in El Paso.
Then Eddie mentions a missed call. And a voicemail. And a text from Tommy asking if Eddie thinks he's "competition."
Before Buck can spiral, Eddie holds out his hand for Buck's phone, finds Tommy's still-blocked number, and calls him back himself. What follows is ten minutes of calm, surgical destruction: Eddie dismantling Tommy's ego, burning every bridge, and saying things like "You call that competition? You were never in the fucking race," and "I left him behind and he was still fucking mine."
Buck's pressed against the corner of the kitchen, half-hard and fully in shock, because they aren't even dating.
Yet.

Summary
After Eddie’s return to the 118, Buck insists—loudly and often—that he’s fine. He has a new house, a new partner, and absolutely no romantic feelings for Eddie Diaz, thank you very much. Everyone else (Hen, Maddie, Chim, the entire city of Los Angeles) seems less convinced. What follows is a deeply funny, tender, and painfully honest exploration of denial, pride, and the slow, inevitable collapse of Buck’s “I’m fine” façade. Between Maddie’s pancake-based interventions, Hen’s relentless empathy, and one ill-timed visit from Tommy Kinard, Buck’s house of cards comes tumbling down—just in time for Eddie to quietly, devastatingly, tell the truth first.
By the time Christopher declares that churros are a celebration food, Buck finally admits the thing everyone already knew: he’s not pathetic, he’s in love.

Summary
The problem is, Buck broke the touch barrier. Before, Eddie’s ass existed in his reality as much as a mirage exists in the desert—something to observe at a distance with wonder. He could only dream about what it would be like to kneel at its shore and drink from its waters, but who wouldn’t? He’s thirsty as hell!
But then, Buck actually managed to reach it and discovered it isn’t a mirage, it’s an oasis, and now he’s just supposed to move on?
Buck has always known Eddie has a nice ass, and he is secure enough in his sexuality to let him know as such. It’s no big deal… Until it is.

Summary
Buck laughs. But there's not even a hint of humor in it. It's flat and horrible. “You think having sex with me will help?”
Buck's scratches look a week healed. Maybe more.
“I know what you are, Buck. It's okay. I've known for years.”
“W-what I am,” Buck repeats. He shakes his head. “What am I, Eddie?”
or: Eddie is determined to help Buck recover from his injuries. He'll do anything for Buck.

Summary
Routine is not the way Buck ever expected to describe his sex life.
He misses sex, and he was saying that very casually in conversation with his brother-in-law, as one does, to which his brother-in-law replied, “Why don’t you ask Eddie? You spend all your time together anyway—an afternoon delight can’t be weirder than everything else you two’ve got going on,” before pausing and murmuring, “Plus, he’s good at it.”
Which is when Buck whipped around so quickly it probably could’ve registered on a radar speed gun.
Now, pointing a wooden spoon at Chimney, he asks, “What do you mean ‘he’s good at it’?”
Or, Buck finds out Eddie had a threesome. With Maddie and Chimney.

Summary
And, fine, maybe Eddie likes it, okay? Maybe keeping up the veneer of his heterosexuality is not as important to him as making sure Buck's hands are on him at all times. Maybe he's a six foot man in his thirties who likes it when his best friend - maybe the love of his life? Eddie's doing extensive studies and the results are coming out with heart eyes - manhandles him a little.
The question is now, of course, what Eddie is going to do about it.
Eddie Diaz wants his best friend to pick him up and maybe throw him around a little. He gets, perhaps, a little crazy about it.

Summary
“I’m gay.”
Okay, so…that wasn’t how Eddie planned on doing it. In his head he imagined easing them into it instead of just dropping that life-changing information then staring out the windshield as if the red traffic light in front of them is going to signal which way to take this conversation. Honestly, he had never been able to be so direct about his feelings before, so those two words surprised him probably as much as they surprised his son.
(or, 5 times Eddie stumbles his way out of the closet, plus one time he gets it right)
