Summary
Lancelot had admired Arthur from a distance, as a boy reading epic tales admires the hero. He had come to him and knelt and served him- until that blue hedgehog came and tore him down, wielding the sword of the one true king.
Sonic is not Arthur, but he is the one true king. And Lancelot swore loyalty to him. No matter what, Lancelot wants to try forming a bond with his new king.

Love the idea of Sonic's multiple deaths stacking on his mental health. Sonic really do be dying and getting dragged back to fight for freedom of people who dont always want his help. Interesting to see Silver be the one to step in.
Kinda hope this fic continues to expand with Silver trying to save Sonic.

Loved the way Sonic was determined to get an answer from Shadow before making any changes to their relationship. (Could definitely a slow burn/misunderstanding trope version of this where Shadow tries to avoid answering to the point that Sonic straight up assumes shadow does hate him and attempts to walk out of Shadow's life) -

It was a square shape, a bit larger than a normal notebook, with a white ribbon twisted into a bow to keep it closed. Tails picked it up curiously. It was clearly Sonic’s as he’d never seen it before, so it would be an invasion of privacy to look inside. But then again, Sonic had left it out in the open; if it was private he could’ve at least put it in his room. However, he hadn’t expected Tails to be home anytime soon so-
Who was he kidding. He could argue with himself all day if he wanted, but in the end he knew curiosity would get the better of him anyway. Before he could stop himself, he pulled at the ribbon and opened the book.
