Mulan meets her match, through a matchmaker even, in this fic. Captain Li is adorably awkward while Mulan is bulldozing through life, both are doing their best. I wouldn't say this fic is romantic, or that the characters are in love by the end of it, but it is a hopeful ending.

What a fascinating concept! Ichigo uses his key to the universe to spend time studying, while living in his real world like sex and drugs can't go out of style. Letting Ichigo into the multiverse was really interesting, and while there's no real arc to the plot here, seeing him mess around was fun.

This fic was interesting, Harry trying to outmaneuver two chess masters. The writing style starts out a bit dramatic, but it smooths out over the course of the story. I don't know much about the Fantastic Beasts series, but I appreciated how this fic brought in the events and characters from it. Harry does go through obligatory stages of morose angsting, but he also has friends and allies willing to kick his butt into gear.

Summary
