Summary
So her meimei had talked about going to a festival with the beast, but as a proper and responsible big sister, Shen Jiu couldn’t allow them to go without a chaperone. She had then invited herself to their date, ignoring all of Yuan-mei’s protests, and dragged her own girlfriend along. If she had to suffer watching the two being incredibly gross and mushy, then she refused to do it alone. And Liu Qingge was her girlfriend anyway, she had the duty of following her to places whenever she was told to.
From there, it went downhill very quickly.

Liu Qingge shifted, pulling on his arms and legs to see how much movement the Immortal Binding Cables would allow. The answer was barely any; they were just loose to not hurt him, but nothing more. Shen Qingqiu couldn’t take the risk of the War God being able to leave before the treatment was over, and had tied him up properly in an eagle position.
“Hurry”, simply groaned the man in reply, his face already red and sweaty from arousal.
He clicked his tongue at his behaviour, but decided to be generous just this once. He knew how terrible it was to be overtaken by the poison of the sex pollen, how it burned your body and clouded your mind until all you could do was beg for relief.

Summary
He found it almost amusing, the thought that two decades ago he would have deeply hated being in this situation. How much had changed, Shen Qingqiu mused while turning a page, barely paying attention to the content of the book, and how much hadn’t.
He still despised most people. Humans were horrible, wretched beings, and men were the worst of their lot. He didn’t think anything would ever change his mind on this, no matter how long he lived, even if he ended up ascending to Heaven. He was the prime example of this; a greedy, selfish, tainted creature that was masquerading as a cultivator. Just because some people proved themselves to be above the rest didn’t mean much for humanity. He would always expect people he met to have ulterior motives, to be ready to betray him at the first occasion, to be willing to let him rot in a hellish mansion while they were working on bettering themselves as an untouchable cultivator.
And yet, here he was.

Summary

Still, no matter how close they grow, he can't shake the feeling of his unlikely companion keeping some secret from him.

Shen Yuan could not be said to be a villainfucker. He didn't like villains in the way villainfuckers did. He liked them the way normal people did, by coming up with increasingly elaborate revenge fantasies to enact on their soon-to-be-corpses.
Luo Binghe was the exception.
The main character of Proud Immortal Cultivator Way was pretty meh as far as protagonists went. Shen Jiu was just as shallow and petty as every other cultivation power fantasy hero—hardly worth writing home about. He started small and got powerful, yipee. Welcome to every cultivation progression story on Zhongdian Literature.
But Luo Binghe.
Luo Binghe was why Shen Yuan kept reading.
