She saw the sender and tossed it, “Hey, you got a text.” Not her circus yet.
Scratch still had Lewis sat, one hand holding his chin steady and the other holding the torture machine that was curling his lashes. Lewis’s phone landed next to his leg and he felt around until he found it. He focused his unoccupied eye on the screen and pressed his thumb to the home button to unlock it. It opened the texts.

"And for once, Mitch didn't wake up before the sun did. He felt more than he saw sunlight streaming through the window, landing over his back and side. Which was just a little bit weird, because his bed was against the only wall with a window, so for the sun to be draped over him as it currently was there would have to be a hole in the wall separating his and his aunts room, so the sun would shine through her window, through the wall and onto him. Also the trailer would have to be flipped."
Inspired heavily by Override the Sun (great fic i totally recommend reading) however this is not a continuation or parody, but they are set in the same universe
