Summary
When it reaches Naim’s mouth, he bites off his finger, breaking skin. Naim hurries as fast as he can back down the hill under the power lines and through the weeds, dazed and terrified. He doesn't bother climbing back through the window. He runs up the front steps and bangs on the locked front door. He’s panicking now. In a neighbour's window, a light comes on. Naim's mother, woken from a dead sleep, lets him in. When she sees the blood on Naim's mouth, she seems to know exactly what happened. She's already moving.

Summary
“Is it worth it? Being with me?” Ryan asked as he finished drying his hair with a shirt of his as he watched Naim get close. He was nervous he had changed Naim’s life for the worse, and he did not want him to eventually leave him alone. There was nothing he was afraid of more than being alone, and he hoped Naim would never do such a thing.
“Of course it is, you mean so much to me” Naim came closer and touched Ryan’s cheek softly as he leaned into his palm seeking warmth from his touch
“It’s going to be hard you know” Ryan looked up at him with sad blue eyes knowing that their attraction would always make things hard. He knew that people would frown upon it, and he did not want Naim to regret being with him. It had been difficult knowing his own family turned against him, but he did not want Naim to ever feel like an outsider.

Summary
This thing can wear his face.
It can borrow his voice.
It can knock on the door and call for Naim.
But they don't know how Ryan walks.
And they don't know that, given the choice between fear and each other, the boys chose each other.
Again.
And again.
And again.

Summary
Seven friends. One lake house. A gas station attendant named Mike who looks them all in the eye at the counter and says, without performance or preamble: “You’re going to die up there.”
He’s not wrong.
Bruce Wayne is not the protagonist of a horror movie. He is the control freak—the one who plans, who catalogues, who watches everyone’s micro-expressions and files them for later. He is also the one who held the soda can at the gas station, felt what it was, and put it down. That single gesture threads through everything that follows.
Clark Kent is immune to the fear component of the compound. He is not immune to the other component. This becomes relevant. Repeatedly.
A Justice League horror AU in which everyone uses their civilian names, the horror is real, the deaths are earned, and the thing that survives is not what you expect.
