Summary

“Luz, what’s up?” Amity asked, placing her hand on Luz’s shoulder. She peered over her, trying to see if there was anything there.
“There’s something magical over there,” Luz said, pursing her lips. Amity sighed. She was really hoping their evening wouldn’t be interrupted by any magical mishaps this time.Suddenly, a small, black, gooey creature emerged from the bushes, hissing up a fit.
“What…is that?” Amity said, scrunching her nose.
“I think it's Grom?” Luz said, making a similar expression. Seeing the confusion develop in her friend's face, she remembered that she needed to clarify more. “It’s a creature from the Demon Realm that feeds on peoples’ worst fears, and takes their form. I have no idea why it’s hee though…we should probably deal with it.” Amity’s face dropped as Luz finished. “Don’t worry,” she continued. “I’m sure it won’t take long. It’s so small right now, I bet we could just put it in one of Eda’s magic jars and be done with it.” Amity smiled softly.
