Summary
A story created by combining the events of Persona 5 Royal, and The Phantom X. As well as some added queerness and a couple of new thieves for both teams.
(This fic was inspired by A Picaresque Royal, but is not that story plus Phantom X stuff, it only borrows some concepts.)
Tags will be updated as the story progresses. As P5X isn't finished at time of writing the story may obviously deviate the further we go in to this. Also the fic is set in 2022, instead of 2016 to better fit Phantom X's more modern aspects, All characters from P5R are the same ages as they are in game, unless otherwise stated.

Summary
Kairi has had a long, long, couple of years. Kidnapped multiple times, has had her memories of the love of her life wiped and readded, killed, and revivied, and watched her boyfriend disappear from reality right in front of her just to save her. Combine that with lingering trauma from the Keyblade War, she's barely hanging on. After apprenticing with Aqua in order to get stronger, she finds herself staying on the Boiling Isles after being unable to bring herself to return home.
So here she is, now accidentily caught up in dark plots, fighting evil tyrants, and piecing herself back together as she builds a new found family for herself.
But can she save this new home from the darkness that's coming to it?
