He cared for Owen, the hurt fledgling clearly still grieving, a feeling Scott knew far too well. His first fledgling Pyro reminded him of his past childes, their loss felt in his chest like his heart had been ripped out. The bond between sire and fledgling was sacred, and Scott knew that his coven was gone, scattered to the wind. He could pretend they weren't dead, simply having fled upon the cleric's sorcery.
