Mingyu’s just relieved there’s another sober person at this godforsaken party. Even if that other person might potentially be a serial killer (?) in his free time.
(Mingyu pinpoints the name after five seconds—Jeon Wonwoo—and double-takes. Wonwoo’s in Mingyu’s calc class, and he always sits in the back and never speaks. Which is all fine and dandy, but he’s hot, so people talk. Accounts of attempting to ask the boy out have been catalogued as an acceptable horror story to tell around the campfire.
But Mingyu does not give a shit about that right now. He’s desperate. So he grabs the water bottle and says, “Please help me.”

She knew that Fred had walked in before she even looked up. There was a sudden hush followed by a flurry of giggles and whispers suddenly sweeping the classroom, serving in stark contrast to the usual bustle of lunchtime. As she lifted her gaze from the papers in front of her, his eyes locked with hers and she felt a faint flutter in her belly as a wry grin twisted his lips.
“Come on now,” she chastised the students, trying, with some effort, to draw their attention, “finish eating your lunches and then we can get to work on our craft projects with Mr. Fred.”
It took several moments, but the children eventually turned back to their food, sitting in groups around the room and chattering excitedly as they ate.
“Hello, gorgeous,” Fred greeted her, having made his way to the front of the class to give her a hug. His arms snaked around her waist as he squeezed her gently. He smelled of cinnamon and nutmeg, tinged ever so slightly with gunpowder. It was a pleasant combination, to say the least.

She finds she still has a lot of feelings for Fred but it doesn't seem as though those feelings are reciprocated, for several reasons. Can the thoughtful gifts from her secret Santa help distract her?

Or... not like, all the time, at any rate. His being kidnapped seemed to have increased lately, but he attributed that to being distracted more often than usual because of school. Sure, he’d had high school to contend with back in the day, but high school was less demanding than university. He always watched movies where people were out partying it up or solving crime or having huge campus-wide mass murders or whatever and all Stiles wanted to know was where they found the time.
To be fair, most of them didn’t have the Supernatural breathing down their neck, or a pack constantly coming to them for advice. Like he was the poster child of good decisions, who was dumb enough to believe that? His best friend was a Werewolf because of all his so-called ‘good decisions.’
