Bobby lives in this story and he and Athena are Bucks parents and Theos grandparents also May is also a firefighter and paramedic in training.
Eddie is a 23 year old probie, he has been medically discharged with a silver star, newly out as a gay man he is trying to build a life for himself in LA where Shannon and Chris are, they are friendly and share the custody of Christopher who is 4 in this story.

Summary
Evan Buckley knew he had never belonged to the Buckleys; something inside him said he wasn't part of that family. Maybe it was the toy fire truck he held in his hand, which he had always had and remembered, that whispered there was something more he didn't know could exist. The initials carved into the truck, R. N., made him wish he knew what they meant. Perhaps, in time, he could find himself.
Bobby Nash wanted to be angry, but what he really felt was worry. Buck was always reckless, rebellious, and never took care of himself, which terrified Bobby. He wanted to protect him, not knowing if the real reason was because he saw Buck in the little boy he lost years ago, or perhaps the mark that looked so much like his baby son's—though he knew it could just be a coincidence, because that's how things happened: coincidences. Buck couldn't possibly be Robin Nash.

Summary
Evan Buckley is a man of many talents, one of them being he wasn’t born a man.
When Buck joins the fire academy, he doesn't tell anyone. No words are exchanged about his top surgery or his T-shots, or the fact that he doesn't have friends.
He doesn't go out with other recruits or exchange numbers with any guys or drink a beer with them every once in a while. He puts in the effort, works his ass off and does well, but his identity remains a mystery.
It's better that way. No one knows who Evan Buckley really is, and he wants it to stay that way.
But a very friendly firehouse makes it hard for him to stay in the dark much longer.

Evan 'Buck' Buckley grew up around a horrible family, Margaret and Phillip were not the best parents to Evan, even Maddie ignored him for the most of it, he was lied to his whole life, are they surprised Evan turned out like this?
Buck had sued the station for not letting him come back after being cleared, he could have taken the $8 million dollars, he just wanted his job back, his family at the 118 but no. He didnt get one back thats the cost of telling your lawyer things.
After being ignored for months, Buck decided to distance more after they tried to reach out to him, how long could Bobby keep this act up? Of pretending Buck wasnt there.
Chimney and Hen couldnt take it within the first week.
Eddie accepted it and lashed out on Christopher, Bucks name isnt mentioned in the Diaz household anymore.
Maddie no longer rang Buck.
This will be a very long book since i am trying to average 1k words per chapter some might be 2k or even more but bare with the slow-burn in Buck and the 118s relationship.
