Summary
Elliot was the only soldier left on Pandora after the rest were kicked off. Now he helps the scientist where he can without trying to upset the Na'vi. During the Na'vi heat cycles, the humans are ordered to stay in the base so as not to get in the way. Elliot leaves the base to fix a few security issues only to end up sharing a heat with Eytukan, the previous Olo’eyktan of the Omatikaya Clan.

Summary
The AU where both Sully brothers end up on Pandora, but the rules of biology and society aren't the same for everyone. The Na'vi have secondary genders, and because Avatars are grown on Na'vi DNA, Avatars do too. Humans don't.
Jake has no context for any of it.
And then it gets worse: a Na'vi warrior mistakes Jake for his twin brother. So he ends up trapped in the middle of a strange community, while the one person who could clear it up isn't there to do it.
