Summary
The first time they hooked up, Rozanov had kissed him before Shane got on his knees. They kissed when Scott Hunter was in the room next-door. And they kissed slowly and sweetly, on his apartment stairway, after Rozanov had taken his world apart and put him back together again. Hell, even in that bathroom, where he felt as if the Russian was trampling on his bared soul, Rozanov had kissed him.
So why was it different this time? What did he do wrong?
Shane aches with how much he wants—needs the other man. There is a hollow numbness in his chest every time he thinks about those golden curls and ocean eyes, and he hates himself for wishing he could have more.
---
Wanting Hollander is dangerous, because Ilya is wanting more than he’s allowed to have. But Ilya keeps wanting more and more, because he is vain, selfish, undisciplined. He wants to have Hollander in his arms, sweet, warm, and gorgeous.
And he will always regret it later, in the quiet moments that come in the aftermath, in the small and lingering ache that follows him once they are apart.
Or: Shane spirals and avoids Ilya post-Vegas. Ilya chases after him, and they talk.

Summary
“Bruce…”, Clark cried out, his voice trembling as he stared down at his own tainted hands, “I couldn’t - I couldn’t do…”, he looked up at his old friend, his lover, his light. “I couldn’t do anything.”
Bruce stared at Clark for a few moments, a cloud of understanding taking over the blue of his eyes because he understood, of course he did. He wrapped Clark’s trembling body in his arms, hugging him close so there was no part of their bodies that wasn’t touching, and Clark held onto the fabric at the back of Bruce’s robe so strongly that the threads of the fabric loosened up a bit.
“Bruce...”

Summary
Kerry bought V coffee until he’d lost track of how many they had and how long they sat at a table and talked. Just *talked* like normal people, easy and natural, the stories and laughter flowing between them as if they’d been chooms forever. Later, as they stood under the restaurant’s eaves to avoid the rain, Kerry delayed with more conversation, even as he called up a car for himself.
“Not gonna take this one?” V pointed at the sad little piece-of-shit they’d driven here. It had a broken headlight now too, probably from the van exploding earlier.
“Pfft. Ain’t my car. Not driving away from the scene of a crime in my own ride.” Kerry raised a hand in farewell as he darted through the raindrops to the waiting Delamain. “See ya soon, V.”
As the car drove away, V decided he might have developed a new, very real, and completely irrational crush on the silver-haired rockerboy.
