“But…” Mu Qing felt his lungs burning, his breath quickening with each thump of his racing heart. Why on earth did Feng Xin know that about him? It seemed like such useless information, yet Feng Xin held it dear for so long until now. “But why?”
“What do you mean why? It’s because I got your name when we were pick—”
“You could’ve just given me anything else, but why this?” Mu Qing raised his voice, feeling more on edge. “Feng Xin, it doesn't make any sense.”

Mu Qing’s lip curled in disgust as he shrugged off Pei Ming’s hand. “I’m not telling you, they are not…”
His lips were pressed into a thin line as he tried to form some sort of response to satisfy Pei Ming’s waning hunger, but nothing he thought of seemed good.
And he was sure the more time that passed, the more Pei Ming’s doubt for him grew-

Mu Qing blinked in confusion.
He recognized that voice anywhere, and that could only mean it was… Feng Xin?!

This is the worst nightmare Mu Qing has ever had. He’s been spending too much time with Feng Xin recently, thinking about him and staring every time Feng Xin turns away, and now even his half-conscious mind tries to conjure up the image of Feng Xin—surely, that’s the only logical explanation.
Mu Qing definitely didn’t just wake up with his face pressed against Feng Xin’s chest. He didn’t.
