Summary
Ch1: Darth Vader wants his former Master by his side, absolutely not because he missed the dry humour, their endearing quarrels, or anything. Definitely not. Just because- uh, Obi-Wan would make a good advisor? Not that he would agree with Vader, though. This is where memory deleting steps in.
Ch2: Obi-Wan is captured by the Empire. Only problem being Vader, he acts bipolar—one day hating Kenobi (because he is a traitor!), and the other day trying to give him a better life (are you all right, master?).
Ch3: Obi-Wan is sitting in his cell but there is a force ghost Dooku advising him to kill people— (a certain Skywalker, for instance). Obi-Wan is not amused.
Ch4: Sidious lowers his hand and ceases the force lighting. “Do you finally unseal your mouth, Master Kenobi?"
“No,” Obi-Wan pants, shaking his head. “I say that I have never voted for you at elections, chancellor. It appears I am very foresighted, what do you say?”[Gen, hurt/comfort kind of snippets about 4 different AUs where Obi-Wan is captured by the Empire but sometimes they even end up with an Emperor Obi-Wan. Or a rebellion!Obi-Wan. Or they change nothing.

Summary
The excitement and hype doesn’t entirely make up for the things Calum misses when he’s on tour. He aches for the lazy days sitting by the pool in the sunshine. He longs for late start mornings where Roy is making pancakes in the kitchen. He dreams of the simplicity of going for a walk down the street and not having ten plus people stop him for a photo.
Most of all, he misses Duke.
The scruffy little mess of a dog is his best friend, the only person who really knows all his secrets. The soft fluff of his fur is the world’s best comfort, always there for Calum to run his fingers through when he’s stressed out. His tiny beating heart calms Calum’s in a way that nothing else on this earth can. His grumpy old man grumbles can pull a laugh from Calum’s chest even at his worst moments.
Leaving Duke behind when he goes on tour is the hardest thing he has to do.

They pulled over for gas. This was a fight from the start: Scar announced halfway into their trip— that’s a figurative halfway, not a literal one, as traditional distances sort of break down when you’ve spent long enough in the void— that spaceships do need gas, and this one was in fact in dire need of more gas immediately.
