Summary
The universe times it just right.
They meet at a certain stage in life where everything is all impulse and curiosity, where you can get away with anything and maybe a scraped knee or detention to show for it, but it never lasts, it never hurts for longer than a week, at least, depending on what you’ve done.
Maybe it’s because James Potter is too friendly for his own good, always running his mouth. He sets everything in motion, at least.
But Sirius Black has never had real friends before, not like this, and a little brother plus a deranged old house elf don’t count. Even if they both let you win at chess every time you play.
And Peter Pettigrew is used to playing along, and Remus Lupin just wants to share his passion for Muggle rock n' roll with someone who understands, you know?
So they’re young and so it means everything to share a compartment on a train on a warm day in September, in 1971, and the universe got something right because that one day stretches an entire lifetime. And maybe beyond that, too. Maybe all the way to the other side.

Remus doesn’t do clubs. Or glitter. Or kissing beautiful strangers in alleys behind gay bars.
Especially not when he’s thirty-one, has a toddler at home, and a hip that acts up in the cold. But Sirius Black isn’t just anyone.
It starts with a kiss. It doesn’t end there.

Summary
We were together…I loved him…Sirius and I…
The words land square in Harry's chest and he can't breathe. Can't get his lungs to work properly. Because there it is, clear as day, that missing piece of the puzzle—only it's a very critical piece, like a load-bearing wall, and everything Harry thought he knew about Sirius…is wrong.
Not wrong. Just…not the full picture. They'd had so little time together, and still, Harry had deluded himself into thinking he knew Sirius.
What did he know?
Nothing, it seems.
After the war, Harry returns to 12 Grimmauld Place. Someone else is already there.

Summary
"He could have a wife," said one thoughtful student. "Just because he's married doesn't mean it's to Mr. Black—besides Mr. Black doesn't wear a wedding ring."
Another chimed in, "Mr. Black wears a million rings, one of them could be a wedding ring. And are we forgetting the tattoo?"
A third inquisitive student asked, "Do people get tattoos instead of wedding rings?" Which earned a resounding, shouted, "Yes," from at least six students, although none of them had any idea if this was true.
Mr. Lupin teaches English and Mr. Black teaches French. They are just friends. Unless they aren't. Their middle school students are on a mission to find out the truth.

Summary
It's one of the final nights of their seventh year at Hogwarts, and the Gryffindor common room has been transformed into a sanctuary of celebration, alcohol, and rule-breaking. Sirius Black, who has spent seven years successfully avoiding kissing anyone, is enjoying the chaos until the suggestion of Spin the Bottle throws him into a panic.
All Sirius has ever wanted is to kiss Remus Lupin, but the fear of rejection—and shattering the delicate balance of the Marauders—has kept his lips firmly sealed. When a cruel twist of fate (and Mary McDonald) forces the issue, Sirius bolts. Up in the rafters, in the quiet darkness of a war-fearing world, he finally learns that he might not be the only one who has been pining.

It’s in the eyes, the pulse, and the acrid scent of anxiety: Remus Lupin knows every time Sirius Black lies.
This is the story of their life in lies and truth. From the Prank that nearly ended them, to the kiss that started it all, and the ultimate deception meant to protect them. Remus knows the official story is a lie, but sometimes, the truth is far more painful than the betrayal.

Summary
The first thing Remus registered feeling was relief.
Sirius was alive and standing in front of him. The second feeling was a gnawing, sickening guilt because someone had died and yet right now, Remus was just so intensely glad that it hadn’t been his Sirius.
He barely had time to consider the moral implications of this line of thought before he was dropping his cane and running as fast as he could down the hallway, throwing himself at Sirius and enveloping him into a hug. He ignored the way his hip and legs sent sparks of agony throughout his body as he stood unbalanced without his cane.
He didn’t dare move. He was right where he wanted to be, home, with Sirius’ head tucked perfectly under his chin and a tress of his long dark hair curling around his thumb.
OR: Sirius comes home to Remus after a turbulent Order mission. A beach trip and deep talk ensues...
Can definitely be read standalone, or as part 7 in my series.
