To be devoured back everything Karl gets his hands on Ethan, bruising and insistent.
But aren't they both like that, unnatural - twisted and made up from the ashes of whoever they once were, rebuilt and resisting despite the monsters that lay in their blood, that fused with their being until they could no longer see their reflection? Haven't they both deserved to expunge their sins and the nightmares hiding in the shadows until nothing else exists but them?
Maybe Ethan will say it, one day, when Heisenberg isn't imprinting on him until Ethan cannot remember even his own name, until he can only think of the burn of fingers and tongue and the whole word is forgotten for a moment.
