The war truly ends on the day the Third Mizukage’s head rolls across the floor, and standing over it is a young man whom no one has ever seen before. On that day, Kirigakure fell as it was known, and all who saw that young man’s face either perished or joined him. Summary
Uchiha Sasuke had always prided himself on his strength. After all, what is an Uchiha without their strength? Their kekkai genkai? Their clan name and insignia?
That pride is what drove him mad, forcing himself to abandon his village and those he loved in hopes of regaining some semblance of sanity. The fact that Orochimaru branded him with a curse mark and hearing voices in his head doesn’t help matters out either, but then again his life was always full of suffering so what makes a difference.
If he could somehow put a stop to Orochimaru and the Akatsuki’s shenanigans as well as seeking out the truth regarding everything he’s known, well that’s part of the journey, isn’t it?
