It was the tail that caught his attention first, big and fluffy at the base that tapered off to a cream coloured point at the end. The quality was amazing and looked like it had jumped right out of all the animations he had seen. He followed it up to the fluffy fur tufts around his neck that rested on his chest and shoulders of the same cream colour and then up to the long pointed ears that emerged from his hair on either side of his head. They looked so soft and real which gave him the urge to reach out and touch them to see if they felt as silky and delicate as a dog’s might. There was a black dot on the tip of Harry’s nose and he was immediately endeared.
“Look at you,” Louis breathed out and saw the twitch of Harry’s lips to confirm he wasn’t asleep. This wasn’t an indulgent nap, this was exactly how Louis was meant to find him.
