"So, when you told me you were crazy, you weren't talking about the amnesia thing specifically?"
Bucky shakes his head, moving closer to her.
"And the, um, the disarm sentence at the bottom there..." she trails off before she looks over at Bucky where he stops at the edge of the bed. "I'm guessing it's not because you wake up in the middle of the night with a mad hankering for pizza."
Bucky shakes his head again.
Darcy doesn't say anything for a little while, then suddenly, "Could my waking you up this morning like I did have gotten me killed?" The question is straightforward and rational. Like Darcy. But her voice is so small. Unlike Darcy.
He's moving toward her now and when he reaches her side she doesn't flinch away, which is a nice sign, "I wouldn't have let you stay if that was possible. I'm not dangerous to people around me, I swear." Bucky sighs and perches next to Darcy on the bed, "I just didn't know how to begin to bring this up."
"Well, I'd say it's story time."

Bucky knows this is an important moment. Darcy is meeting half of the couple responsible for some of his most destructive moments. Bucky just can't work up the energy to be anxious about it.

Darcy blushes but powers through in true Darcy style. “I don’t know, man. Kids today, they’re all about the mock ups of domesticity without any actual commitment. I see ‘hashtag wife status’ on the reg. Without an actual conversation, I don’t like to assume,” she says, shrugging.
Bucky kisses her then, almost bruising in it’s intensity. He pulls back just enough to whisper against her lips, “Can I keep you?”
Darcy cracks a grin at the same time Bucky does but they don’t separate, foreheads still pressed. “Only ‘cause you used the line from Casper and not because I agree with the implication you have any claim to my person,” she whispers back, but she starts giggling halfway through the sentence and she kisses him again right after. “Now tell me the story of the pretty, pretty boys,” she says the next time they separate.

Summary
Fear is a horrible thing. It constricts your lungs and makes it hard to breath. It beats your heart right out of your chest, makes you unable to scream for help and holds on to you for as long as it can.
Cass is all too familiar with this, because of how often fear visits her every night. She dreams of a man she doesn't know, hurting her in ways she didn't think possible. She feels whips, knives and fire and yet in the morning, she wakes with no scars the ability to convince herself it was all just a dream.
This starts to change when a man she doesn't know, yet feels like she should recognise, becomes her co-author for a play she's currently writing. There's something about him she feels like she knows, perhaps the sharp cheekbones, or the green eyes, or how every time they touch she somehow knows exactly how he is feeling. Admittedly, the man can be a bit of a prick, and the fact that he keeps calling her the wrong name doesn't exactly help, but the fact that she recognises the name makes it worse, as well as how he keeps dodging her questions every chance he can get.

The closer he gets, and the denser the android surveyors become. Hank sees Connor raise the gun to his chin, pressing into the underside of his jaw, and the ground drops away beneath his feet abruptly.

AU from 4X01. 48 hours. 48 hours is the timeline when someone is taken. After 48 hours, the percentage of finding them alive is greatly decreased. It's been over a year. (The rescue in Mexico doesn't go quite as the McCall pack had hoped) Rating for language and violence.
They say that when someone goes missing, there’s a 48-hour window. That’s it. 48 hours. That’s 2,880 minutes. In the grand scheme of things, it’s such a laughably miniscule amount of time to be searching for someone until all hope is lost.
But this was a proven fact. 48 hours and the percentage of finding the person – particularly alive and still in one piece – drastically drops until, mathematically speaking, there was no hope to find them.
48 hours.

Holmes fait cela car il pense – d'après ce qu'il lui a dit avant d'être conduit à l'hôpital – que Watson souhaiterait ce développement de leur relation. Il explique tout cela à Watson.

One of Holmes' actions could be construed as manipulation. When Watson wakes up, Holmes engages in affectionate behaviour (such as kissing) with him, leading him to thinking that this was already part of their relationship before the event that caused Watson's injury, which is not the case. Holmes does this because he believes – from what he told him before he was taken to hospital – that Watson would want this development in their relationship. He explains all of this to Watson.
