Anyway, in the original fic block "Escape to a New Life," Satomb spontaneously evolved on its own because the spirits of the Dragon Clan decided that he was worthy of an evolution.
Author-San later forgot about that, and came up with the idea that after the tryout match, in the gym of El Astro, Satomb started calling to him like Valtryek. That he is ready to evolve.
After that Episode's day's plot, he ran off to go find the parts.
That wild goose chase led him to a trailer on a cliff top far away from El Astro, on the edge of Barcelona, where he "asked" the woman to help him.
She agreed under the condition that he defeat her in a Survival battle on the Bermuda Triangle's cousin island.
