    After a long and brutal career as Spider-Man, Peter Parker has hit rock bottom. His old universe is gone, his family is gone, and he's abandoned in an alternate timeline where he'd never been born. On the streets and left as a living ghost, he hasn't given up on being Spider-Man. He hasn't given up on other people. He's only given up on himself, and that's still a tragedy. But even at his lowest, he's always what every hero aspires to be. It doesn't hurt that both Dr. Doom and the Incredible Hulk are stuck in the same mess.

    A slow burn superhero story about Peter Parker starting from the lowest point I can possibly put him in, and battling his way to the very top. This is going to be a long one, and while it starts off in a sad place, the overall direction will always be to somewhere more positive. There will be setbacks. Not everything will work out. But my promise is that he'll always be in a better place than where he started.

    “Hey Miguel, Que pasa”, he asked.

    “We have received high activity of an unauthorized multiverse jump from your earth. It seems like an anomaly has found its way into your universe.”

    Miles was a bit surprised, never before had an anomaly landed at his earth though it should not surprise him. The chances weren’t too low that this would happen one day.

    “I will deal with it, no problem”, the teen answered in his usual lighthearted voice.

    (He would soon realize just how wrong he could be...)

    “We have just received breaking news from Austria, where the United Nations just voted to ratify a newly proposed amendment to the Sokovia Accords requiring all enhanced individuals to go through a ‘Liberty Approval Process.’ While this amendment received support from those such as the U.S. Secretary of Defense, many have spoken out against the ratification, including Tony Stark, saying, ‘This is not the kind of bullsh*t I agreed to when I promoted the Accords last year. This amendment will hurt so many of those who fought for these regulations in the first place.’"

    OR

    When the Sokovia Accords are amended to infringe on the rights of enhanced individuals, Peter Parker grapples with the stress from the political division brought forth and continues to hide his identity.

    "Okay, kid, let's rewind a bit. First off, who the fuck—” “Language.” “—are they?!” Tony gestures around to the group of tied-up Villains. “And secondly, how the hell did you even manage to defeat them?!"

    Peter looks around nervously, eyes darting around the room, carefully avoiding the Avengers' gazes. Has he done something wrong?

    “Well… To answer that first question, they’re a group of villains who personally hate my guts. It sucks, I mean, what did I ever do to deserve a specialised supervillain strike team? What's a spider gotta do around here to get some peace?”

    He chuckles anxiously, eyes flitting up to meet the teams’, hoping for laughs so he can get a reprieve from the tension that has begun to smother him. All he gets are the pointed looks of the heroes in front of him.

    Natasha arches an eyebrow, “And the second question?”

    “I just… did?”

    Clint levels a look of incredulity at Peter, “You just did? You just defeated them? That’s all you did?”

    “...Yes?”

    Cap lets out a weary sigh.

    OR: Some people forget Spider-Man is The Protector of New York™, and that he has been doing the job for a while.

    There is nothing particularly special about the moment, Peter is just about to pull his shirt over his head when he glances towards the mirror on the back of his bedroom door and notices something strange near his shoulder. He stops what he is doing, dropping the shirt on the floor before moving closer to the mirror.
