His hands are shaking as he tries to get a spark into the kindling. There are stains in the grooves of his fingerprints. They’re hardly visible in the dying light; Cat can almost imagine they’re no redder than the dirt from the fields that neither could ever fully scrape out until rough Capitol brushes scrubbed them raw. It was a wonder they still had fingerprints left afterward.

It was best for a babe to be fed by a pack member and unfortunately Slade did not have one around.When Gothams Capital fell, it felt like the word was burning down. Dick lost track of Jason. Traveling with Damian wasn’t easy. A single omega parent and pup were easy targets to many on the road.
There were many nights Dick went to sleep hungry, there were other nights he was taken in by a sympathetic pack as he made his way to the region of Defiance. Defiance was an outer province of Gotham, one where Bruce’s mother had come from. -

Além de tudo, ele estava tendo dificuldades até para encontrar Ember. A fantasma roqueira havia descoberto que alto-falantes estrategicamente posicionados podiam ser usados como iscas, e os espalhara generosamente pelo parque. Seu Sentido Fantasma ajudava um pouco, mas as groupies fantasmas de Ember ajudavam a confundir toda a situação. Ele já tinha lutado contra três espíritos usando camisetas com os dizeres "Ember Arrasa!".
