Summary
Dana Scully went to New England hoping for a weekend of rest and relaxation. After becoming embroiled in an X-Files case, she tries to snatch a few moments of peace before returning to Washington.
She has all the ingredients for a relaxing night in, a bubble bath, classical music, and a glass of good wine but naturally, her phone won't stop ringing. Finally, against all the odds, mixing business with pleasure works out just fine.
This is a missing scene set before the final scene in 'Chinga' (Season 5). This is my entry for the Unofficial Channels 'Vacation Snapshot Challenge' (Any member of the X-Files team takes a well-deserved vacation. Any rating, 2,000-5,000 words)
