He supposes he might wear it always now, as a reminder to himself and others of his power, his ascension to godhood—not, he insists to himself, because he senses the deadened flesh and muscle that lies beneath it, felt the nerves in his fingers blow like fuses before he’d even fully snapped them; because he knows that if he were to remove it, there’d be nothing but a blackened husk where his hand used to be, one of two taken, as if he’d paid his own small tithe to Infinity.

Apotheosis - The highest point in the development of something; culmination or climax. Or one's ascension to divine status, that of a god.
Izuku Midoriya, a quirkless kid, wanted nothing more than to become a hero that saves people with a smile just like his idol All Might. Even though everyone put him down for being quirkless and useless, he never gave up on his dreams until a fated meeting with his idol, All Might, changed everything he knew about heroes and society. Heartbroken and feeling betrayed by his idol after being told his dream is impossible, he was going to give up on himself until he found an old comic book and had a reminiscence that gave him an idea. An idea that would change the world and the status quo quirks have established for many years.
This is a remake of an existing fanfic where Izuku creates the infinity gauntlet to change hero society after all he's been through.
I love it a lot but I feel like I should updated it since MHA has ended in both the manga and the anime. As well as pay homage to the one that started my curiosity of fanfics.
Edit: Forgot to mention that Lord Wolfe has given me permission to do my take on the remake of Apotheosis.
