This storyline was inspired by a RWBY/Planet of the Apes crossover called "Bloody Evolution of the Planet of the Apes" by Velo C. Raptor. I recommend to check out his story even if it hasn't been updated in years.
And one last thing I want to say that this is a Alternative Universe where Salem has not been a major threat just yet for three years unlike in Cannon. Cinder and her "team" are not her agents in this one, Roman and Neo are still thieves and the White Fang is still a terrorist group.
