Invincible / Miraculous Ladybug Fusion AU where Marinette's parents are Omni-Man and Debbie (they know she's Ladybug), Marinette is half-Viltrumite (in addition to being Ladybug), and the plots of both shows are mashed together and Marinette more or less takes up Mark's place as Invincible. Expect plenty of action, violence, philosophical and ethical dilemmas, psychological character studies, moral grey areas, intense emotional suffering, hype moments and aura.
Expect semi-regular updates up to a point, because I actually wrote a large chunk of this after Invincible Season 3 came out based on my favourite moments of the season but never released it until now! Please note that as of right now, the fic begins at around the 1/3 mark of the story (it will be a long fic) since I decided to begin there and haven't yet written the stuff that comes before, so if you're confused about what's going on feel free to ask me in the comments! Rewrites of existing chapters will also happen eventually to add more character depth - stay tuned.

Summary
The standard of living seems to never matter until everyone is put on the same level. The amount of love one holds for others doesn't seem to factor in until they put their life on the line and are killed in action. The price a person pays is, ultimately, always determined by their worth in a system that denies them it. This is an unfortunate mantra that has been tried, tested and proven by each death you have faced at the hands of Invincible where you have died alone, screaming, as your resolve in a better tomorrow is shattered underneath blood-stained palms.
When the world shuts down and the GDA appears, poverty becomes a unifier rather than a distinction between the rich and the poor as people scramble for safe zones and places to hide from the Invincibles. The unification never lasts long enough for you to see if it continues: Each death in every timeline creates a newer, angrier version of you that remembers as the body tries to forget. Every plan fails. Everything you've loved, liked, or hated dies all the same. Right and wrong becomes an estimation of how far you are from death.
The plan this time is simple. In this timeline, you're going to befriend Invincible - and then rip his heart out.

So clearly the answer is to fake your death, join Team Earth, and give the main character of your favourite comic some time to adjust to another Viltrumite being around, before you get all stategic and shit.
He definitely won't do something stupid like abscond from the planet to save alien bugs. Definitely won't leave you to become a PR nightmare of a superhero in his absence, and stir the pot of your brand of crazy with the lack of satisfying action.
