"One of the neighborhood kids was asking today if we need any help around the house," Izzy says, muffled by the way she's sprawled face-down in their pillows. Brennan pushes her hair back to press a kiss to her temple before sliding into bed next to her.
"I don't think we really need that, do you?" Brennan asks, as Izzy cuddles into his side. "What'd you tell them?"
"I told her we'd think about it. You can tell her no if you think it's a bad idea," Izzy yawns, shrugging. Brennan almost thinks Izzy's asleep and is about to follow when she reveals one final piece of information. "I think she said her name was Siobhan."
And suddenly Brennan's wide awake.
