“How do you feel?” Nora asks softly, once June’s hands stop trembling.
June takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly. She looks Nora in the eye. “Good,” she says eventually. “I feel good about this decision. I’m glad we took some time to talk about it before I gave them an answer, but I feel like it was the right decision. I’m happy I can do this for my brother. For my brothers,” she amends.
Nora nods. She knows June’s telling the truth, but she also can tell there’s something more. “And?” she prompts.
“And,” June continues, a hint of a smile on her face, and Nora knows it’s for her, that June appreciates that she knows her so well. “I’m nervous.”
“Okay,” Nora says, shifting so she’s sitting cross-legged across from June on the bed. “Specifics. Let’s hear it. You know how this goes: you tell me what you’re worried about and we’ll talk about it logically.”

Albus rested his head on his side, his lips traced part of the scar, his hands caressed his calf, up to his thigh. “You have stopped looking for answers in the cards.”
“I have,” he confirmed, running his fingers through his hair. He had started checking them at random, ignoring what they showed and blaming himself for not asking the right questions. Of course Albus had noticed, overnight Gellert had dropped the surly façade he had been wearing for weeks like a broken armour. Albus drew a line with his tongue on his skin, along his midriff, stopping at the navel. He closed his fist, pulling his hair slightly. “Stop, you know how that ends.”
He pushed him without much strength and Albus let himself fall on the bed. He laid next to him, face down. I love you, he wanted to say to him, I love you more than life.
He picked up the discarded letter, stretching his arm above him, and brought it out of its envelope.

Summary
Stop stop stop stop was the mantra playing in Buck’s head. It was directed much more at himself than Eddie. After all, the other man was just reacting to Buck’s own movements and words, and the blonde couldn’t help that he was so good at faking it.
But despite all the years they spent pining and all the time they had spent taking it slow since getting together, Eddie’s touch felt wrong. Buck couldn't even make it past kissing before his brain shut down.
