Summary
The stadium is a crackling livewire tonight, and the energy from the roaring crowd is radiating inwards, pulsing right back at the stage in a way that Eddie almost feels in his bones. It's a throbbing, moving wave of intensity, and he's content to ride it. It's taken them so long to get here that he won't take any of it for granted, even as they run off stage and the show comes to an end.

A choose your own adventure story featuring Eddie Munson and Corroded Coffin. After a gig, a bunch of little decisions will change the course of how the night ends for Eddie. Go left? Go right? It's up to you to decide for him.

Summary
He's suddenly nervous, and Eddie's never nervous about anything. Not anymore. He's spent too long in front of the watchful eye of the public, the media, society, until he's felt like he's not even himself anymore. Like he had to turn over the keys to his whole personhood, a fiddle of gold against his soul, for this life they live. He's somehow become a character being watched from the outside in, until he couldn't feel anything at all anymore. Like nothing about himself was even his own, just for his own wants, needs, and desires.
Instead, he's public property.
A brand.
Everything is a business decision. A group discussion, involving far more people than he feels comfortable with.
He wants to be Eddie again. Just Eddie. Not Eddie Munson, the face of Corroded Coffin. And more than that, he wants to feel something.

Summary
Catching a glimpse, Eddie is absolutely certain he's seeing Steve Harrington, wielding a nail-studded bat. Taking zombies down, one by one, hand-to-hand, as others are picked off by what sounds like a shotgun. Harrington's crazy. Fighting up close like that. Not running while he has the chance like Eddie, Jeff, Gareth and Goodie are doing right now.
And they do run, that's always Plan A. They strategize each move, voting as a group, as if they're planning their next roll of the dice. But they definitely do not fight hand-to-hand unless they've been backed into a corner with no other possible way out.
Steve Harrington getting up close and personal, swinging his big dick of a bat around? Eddie's not surprised, even if he thinks it's way too risky. Way too stupid.
But at least that means there are other survivors.
They aren't alone.
And for some reason it feels right that Steve Harrington is one of them. King Steve, still holding court in Hawkins, somehow.

Summary
The door starts to open for the first time, and Eddie's ankles are chained together, so he can't move fast, but he tries his best. There's no time. The door opens, a man with a burlap sack is shoved into the room, and then the door clangs shut again. Heavy locks turning.
The guy is shoeless, only wearing a pair of shorts. His hairy chest on display, and he looks like —
No. No, no, no.
Eddie reaches up and yanks the sack off his head, and lets out a pained whine. He shouldn't be here, and he put up a fight not to be, clearly. His nose is caked with dried blood, and his left eye has a painful looking bruise forming underneath it.
Eddie's heart sinks.

Even over the pounding rain, it sounds like an army. A screaming, thunderous army. Inhuman, though. Bats, so many goddamn bats, and when he cranes his neck up further, even through the rain pelting his face, he sees the swish of a tail. A large scaly thing, steering the huge being through the sky.

Summary
Nancy is holding a fish bowl, and she shakes it at them with a grin when they walk in the front door. Eddie and Steve both dig into their pockets, and toss in their car keys in, as demanded.
It was weird to arrive separately, and since everybody else did the exact same thing, the cul-de-sac is filled with more cars tonight than this party is indicative of, with every half of each couple in their own car.
She walks away, and Eddie looks at Steve, "You sure about this?"
Steve runs his hand along Eddie's shoulders, squeezing, "It's just sex. But if you've changed your mind, we can slip away."

Steve smiles at that, and it makes him more willing to fire the grill back up. If he can stretch his skills, use the muscles that are lying dormant in this place, he's thrilled for the opportunity.
Especially for someone that looks like Eddie.

Summary
That's when he sees the headlights. At first, he's sure it's a trick of the light. The mountains do that, sometimes. Ghost lights. Headlights that seem to be coming your way, but never arrive. Blinking out of existence like they were never there at all.
Eddie thinks that seems fitting. He kind of did the same thing. He feels like his past life was a mirage, all smoke and mirrors. A trick the universe played on him.
It's not until he hears the crunch of tires, slow, steady, equipped with chains at least, that he knows someone is actually approaching.
